The Youth Assembly's distinctive platform is intended to promote communication and collaboration between outstanding young people, the business community, civil society, and the global community.
Candidates who are older than this can apply as observers, however the typical age range for Delegate applications is 16 to 28. Since the young Assembly is open to people of all nationalities, it is very competitive and demands a track record of demonstrated leadership, involvement in the community or at school, and an interest in global concerns, sustainable development, and young issues.

Travel, lodging, and meals are not included in the $220 conference alone package. In any event, the applicant is responsible for covering the cost of the visa and the travel. The conference organisers offer a Facebook page for all participants, where you can locate a roommate to share a hotel or Airbnb after registering and being approved as a delegate.
